12 months on from the sell out inaugural conference Africa's "most progressive and innovative mobile event" returns to Johannesburg, South Africa.
The main conference will take place on 29th & 30th September 2010 and two extra conference days have been organised for the 28th September & 1st October. Mobile Web in Africa 2010 will be a hybrid of all the fantastic elements from the previous year combined with a selection of new topics and new contributors. Due to the seating format capacity is again restricted, this time to 200, therefore early registrations are recommended (and are more cost effective).

Hybrid of all the fantastic elements from the previous year?
Combined with a selection of new topics and new contributors?
That's big talk... so feel free to check out the 2009 feedback if you're worried we don't walk the walk or see below for a more detailed explanantion of why this is the mobile event in Africa in 2010:
1) The topic is again going to be solely focusing on mobile technology and how the continent, organisations and entrepreneurs can take advantage of one of the most important technological advances since the Persians harnessed a pigeon's natural homing instinct 2000+ years ago.
2) Once more the agenda is going to be rammed full of African thought leaders and will be supplemented by an excellent smattering of international speakers.
3) It's going to again be held in a superb 5 star venue, with the focus purely on creating the right environment for attendees to take advantage of.
4) The interactive roundtable seating format, which massively improves attendees' on the day experience and outputs, will still be a key feature.
5) all amber will again be applying its principal of offering subsidised tickets to mobile start-ups and developers to guarantee ecosystem wide representation.
What do you need to do right now?
"I'm looking forward to presenting our very latest research on the complexities and opportunities that exist in the mobile web and apps space at the event. I'm in no doubt that the audience for Mobile Web in Africa 2010 will be one that is ready to tackle the challenges we present, and will be able to leverage the market understanding that we have developed."
