SARAH McCORMACK
Managing Director, AdVine

Sarah has been involved in digital marketing and advertising for the past 8 years and had moved from the UK 2 years ago where she lead the Media division for the UK’s largest digital and communications company; Mobile Interactive Group.
 
Sarah’s experience lies in the commercializing and marketing of mobile portals for network operators and media houses. This included developing ‘on’ and ‘off portal’ opportunities for 3rd party content providers and as well as maximizing all revenue opportunities for mobile publishers.

Having recognised a gap in the market in South Africa for a premium mobile sales house, her focus led to aiding media agencies with engaging, new and innovative rich media ad formats, to help brands understand the power of mobile and its effectiveness when executing campaigns. As a result, AdVine was launched in October 2010 as part of the Grapevine interactive group and in partnership with 4th Screen Advertising. AdVine’s primary aim is to provide a single point of purchase for media buyers and brands wishing to place media across South Africa’s most compelling mobile web sites and applications, whilst helping publishers understand better the commercial opportunity in positioning themselves at the premium end of the market.
